Find the ideal Lojimax radiator or towel rail for any room in under 2 minutes.
Our free calculator uses your room’s dimensions, insulation and window type to estimate the BTU and Watt output you need and recommends the right Lojimax product type for it.
How It Works
- Tell us about your room
Room type, width, height, length and window area. - Answer a few quick questions
What’s above and below the room, wall construction, number of external walls, window glazing type, and your climate region (from the Aegean to Eastern Anatolia). - Get your result instantly
Your BTU and Watt requirement, plus a recommended product type (panel radiator, towel rail, or double-panel for higher demand).
- Free and instant
No account, no waiting, results in under 2 minutes - Built for Turkish climate zones
Separate calculations for warm (Aegean/Mediterranean), mild (Istanbul, inland İzmir), cold (Central Anatolia, Black Sea) and very cold (Eastern Anatolia, high altitude) regions - Accounts for real heat loss factors
Insulation, wall construction, window glazing and orientation, not just room size - Personalised product recommendation
Matched to a Lojimax radiator, towel rail, or double-panel range for higher-demand rooms - A starting point, not a final spec

What’s the difference between BTU and Watt?
Both measure heat output — BTU (British Thermal Units per hour) and Watts are simply different units for the same thing. 1 Watt is approximately 3.41 BTU/hr. Our calculator shows both so you can compare against any radiator’s spec sheet, regardless of which unit it’s listed in.
How is a room’s heat requirement calculated?
It starts with room volume (width × height × length), then adjusts for factors that increase or reduce heat loss: what’s above and below the room, wall construction and number of external walls, window type and area, and your climate region. A small, well-insulated interior room needs far less output than a large room with single-glazed windows and an uninsulated roof above it.
What size radiator do I need for my room?
It depends on your calculated Watt/BTU requirement and the specific radiator range’s output at that size — our calculator gives you the target output and a recommended product type; check the exact model’s technical specification against that figure, or contact our team for a project-specific match.
Does window type really make a difference?
Yes — significantly. Single-glazed windows lose far more heat than double-glazed ones, and metal window frames conduct heat away faster than wood or uPVC. This is one of the biggest factors in the calculation.
Is this calculator accurate for anywhere in Turkey?
The calculator adjusts for four broad Turkish climate zones (warm, mild, cold, very cold), so it gives a realistic estimate for most locations. Figures are averages — for an exact specification on a specific project, our technical team can advise directly.
